Gayathri Venugopalan
Gayathri Venugopalan (born 7 June 1979) is an Indian cricket umpire. She was one of the female umpires named by the ICC to stand in matches in the 2025 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. She was one of the on-field umpire in 2025 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup to officiate in semi-final along with Nitin Bathi. In cricket, an umpire (from the Old French meaning not a peer, i.e. not a member of one of the teams, impartial) is a person who has the authority to make decisions about events on the cricket field according to the ''Laws of Cricket''. The 2025 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup was the second edition of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup that was hosted by Malaysia in 2025. She was one of the female umpires named by the ICC to stand in matches in the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. The Ranji Trophy is a premier domestic first-class cricket championship played in India and organized annually by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Chhattisgarh cricket team is a cricket team from the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Chhattisgarh began playing in Indian domestic tournaments including the Ranji Trophy from the 2016–17 season.
