Gautier Bello
Gautier Bello (born April 9, 1983 in Garoua) is a Cameroonian footballer. Club career Bello began his football career Cotonsport Garoua, and played an important role in the club's 2004 domestic-double-winning squad, making important saves in the Cameroon Cup final. He left Cotonsport in January 2008 and moved to Equatorial Guinea club Renacimiento FC. After two season in the Equatoguinean Premier League left Renacimiento FC and returned to Cameroon who signed with US Douala. Garoua
Garoua or Garua (Fula: Garwa 𞤺𞤢𞤪𞤱𞤢) is a port city and the capital of the North Region of Cameroon, lying on the Benue River. A thriving centre of the textiles and cotton industries, the city has approximately 1,285,000 inhabitants in 2020, mostly Fulbe/Fulani. History Garoua was established by the Fulani emir Modibbo Adama in the first half of the 19th century. During the steamship era, it developed into a major river port. The population of the city was 30,000 in 1967. Geography Garoua is situated in northern Cameroon, and lies on the Benue River. It serves as the gateway to Benoue National Park. Neighborhoods include Commercial Centre, Lopere, Quartier de Marouare, Poumpoumre, Roumde Adjia and the northwestern suburb of Yelwa, near Garoua International Airport. They have participated in the World Cup 8 times, and in 1990 they reached the quarter-finals. It took extra time before England won the game 3–2.
