Gausel Church
Gausel Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the southern part of the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the Gausel neighborhood in the borough of Hinna in the southern part of the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Gausel parish which is part of the Ytre Stavanger prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The red brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1996 using designs by city architect (). The church seats about 450 people. Stavanger, officially the Stavanger Municipality, is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Norway. Hinna
Hinna is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The borough includes the southernmost part of the city, bordering the city of Sandnes. The borough of Hillevåg lies to the north, the municipality of Sola lies to the west, and the Gandsfjorden lies to the east. Hillevåg was a part of the old municipality of Hetland until 1965. Gausel
Gausel is a neighborhood (''delområde'') in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Hinna between the neighborhoods of Jåttå, Godeset, and Forus and the Gandsfjorden. History Until the 1980s, Gausel was primary farmland. From the 1990s onwards, increased settlement has taken place, and new service facilities have been built. The Gausel Church was built in 1996. The Stavanger branch of the cash management company NOKAS was relocated to Gausel, after the robbery incident in central Stavanger in 2004.
