Gaurika Singh
Gaurika Singh (; born 26 November 2002) is a Nepalese Swimming (sport), swimmer. She has held many national records since beginning her swimming career at the young age of eight. She has set the record of winning 4 gold medals in a season of the 2019 South Asian Games, 2019 South Asian games held in Nepal. She won two silver and three bronze medals for Swimming at the 2016 South Asian Games, swimming at the 2016 South Asian Games. She also participated at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as the youngest Olympian, representing Nepal in the Women's 100m backstroke. She has been included in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021 Entertainment and Sports list. Personal life Gaurika Singh originally hails from Bhimdutta municipality, Kanchanpur but now lives and trains in London, United Kingdom at the Camden Swiss Cottage Swimming Club under coach Adam Taylor, who has produced world-class swimmers. 2016 South Asian Games
The 2016 South Asian Games, officially the XII South Asian Games, is a major multi-sport event which took place from 5 February to 16 February 2016 in Guwahati and Shillong, India. A total of 2,672 athletes competed in 226 events over 22 sports. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2016 South Asian Games in Guwahati on 5 February 2016. India continued its dominance in the game's medal tally with a staggering 308 medals including 188 gold medals. Haberdashers' Girls' School is a private day school in Elstree, Hertfordshire. It is often referred to as "Habs" (or "Habs Girls" to distinguish it from the neighbouring Haberdashers' Boys' School). The school was founded in 1875 by the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies of the City of London. History In 1690, Robert Aske gave the Haberdashers' Company £20,000 to set up a hospital and home for 20 elderly men and a school for 20 boys at Hoxton, just north of the City of London.
