Gaurav Misra
Gaurav Misra (born 1949) is an Indian former professional tennis player. He has been the Director of the Columbia University Tennis Center in New York City since 1999. Professional career Misra played his first tournament at the Carmarthenshire Championships in 1966 where he reached the quarter-finals stage, before losing to C. Gopala Bhupathi. In 1970 he won his first title at the All India Hard Court Championships in Madras, where he beat Anand Amritraj. The same year Misra received a first round bye at the 1970 French Open qualifying but was unable to play his first round qualifying match against Australia's Lindsay Straney. In April 1971 he was a finalist at the Bio-Strath Stourbridge tournament, part of the Bio-Strath Circuit that was held at Stourbridge, where he lost to Stanley Matthews. Stanley Matthews (tennis)
Stanley John Matthews (born 20 November 1945) is an English former professional tennis player. He became Wimbledon Boys' Champion in 1962 and reached the second round of the French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open. He is the son of former professional footballer Sir Stanley Matthews. Chiradip Mukerjea
Chiradip "Chiro" Mukerjea (born 14 August 1953) is an Indian former professional tennis player. Biography Born in Calcutta, Mukerjea played on the professional tour in the 1970s. He was unbeaten during his Davis Cup career for India, winning three singles and one doubles rubber. His first Davis Cup appearance came in India's 4–0 win over Pakistan in 1973, where he played a dead rubber reverse singles against Saeed Meer which was abandoned after one set. He next played in 1976, featuring in ties against Thailand and the Philippines. In the tie against Thailand he was again called up for a dead rubber reverse singles and beat Somparn Champisri in straight sets. He was used more in the subsequent tie against the Philippines and won both of his singles rubbers in five sets, as well as the doubles rubber, with Sashi Menon. Bernard Mitton (9 November 1954 – 5 May 2017) was a professional tennis player from South Africa. Mitton reached his highest singles ranking of world No. 51 on 15 December 1975, and his highest doubles ranking of 20 on 25 June 1984. Ramanathan Krishnan (born 11 April 1937) is a retired tennis player from India who was among the world's leading players in the 1950s and 1960s. José Guerrero is a Spanish former professional tennis player. In the 1968 Real Madrid International, he defeated Mike Sangster in straight sets in the third round, losing to Juan Couder in the fourth round. At the 1969 Macomber Cup, he defeated Patrick Proisy, a later finalist at the French Open, in the quarterfinal in a close match, losing the semifinal to Karl Meiler. At the Manly Seaside Championships in 1969 he defeated Colin Dibley in the second round in a close match.
