Philippe Gaubert
Philippe Gaubert (5 July 1879 – 8 July 1941) was a French musician who was a distinguished performer on the flute, a respected conductor, and a composer, primarily for the flute. Biography Gaubert – commonly referred to as Gauberto – was born in Cahors. He became one of the most prominent French musicians between the two World Wars. Danielle Gaubert (9 August 1943 – 4 November 1987) was a French actress. Born in Nuars, Danielle Gaubert was discovered at 16 years old by Claude Autant-Lara, who chose her for the film ''Les régates de San Francisco'', and soon after appeared in a number of German and Italian productions, including ''Flight from Ashiya'' (1964), ' (1968), '' Camille 2000'' (1969) and ''Underground'' (1970). In 1963 she married Radhamés Trujillo Martínez, a son of the Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo, but they divorced in 1968. During the shooting of her last movie '' Snow Job'', she met the ski champion Jean-Claude Killy, whom she married in 1972. She left showbusiness and had a daughter. At the age of 44, she died of cancer. Saint Waldebert
Waldebert (also known as Gaubert, Valbert and Walbert), (died 668), was a Frankish count of Guines, Ponthieu and Saint-Pol who became abbot of Luxeuil in the Order of St. Columban, and eventually a canonized saint in the Roman Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Church, like several among his kinsmen who protected the Church, enriched it with lands and founded monasteries. Like his predecessor at Luxeuil he was born of the noble Frankish family of Duke Waldelenus of Burgundy, highly influential in seventh-century Frankish politics and served in the military before dedicating himself to the contemplative life and joining the monastery at Luxeuil on the borders of Austrasia and Burgundy (in modern-day France), where he dedicated his weapons and armour, which hung in the abbey church for centuries.
