Gasper Urban
Gasper George Urban (March 18, 1923 – May 17, 1998) was an American professional football player who played one season with the Chicago Rockets of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 17th round of the 1946 NFL draft. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame. Early life Gasper George Urban was born on March 18, 1923, in Lynn, Massachusetts. He played high school football at Lynn Classical High School in Lynn. He was a team captain his senior year in 1941, earning All-North Shore honors and helping Classical win the Class A state title with a 13–0 record. In American football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is an Lineman (gridiron football), offensive line player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles. George Connor (American Football)
George Leo Connor (January 21, 1925 – March 31, 2003) was an American professional football player for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) from 1948 to 1955. He played offensive tackle on offense, and linebacker on the defensive side of the ball. Connor attended both the College of the Holy Cross and the University of Notre Dame. He won the first Outland Trophy as the best college lineman in 1946. Sportswriter Grantland Rice once observed Connor was "the closest thing to a Greek God since Apollo".
