Gasabo
Gasabo is a Districts of Rwanda, district (''akarere'') of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. The headquarters of Gasabo are located in the Remera Sector. The district includes neighborhoods such as: Kacyiru, Kimironko, Remera, Nyarutarama and Kimihurura. The district is the location of the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, the burial place of approximately 300,000 victims of the Rwandan genocide, 1994 Genocide against Tutsis. In addition to the cemetery, the memorial has a related genocide exhibition area and library. There are plans to develop a teaching centre on the history of the genocide. Kigali () is the capital and largest city of Rwanda. It is near the nation's geographic centre in a region of rolling hills, with a series of valleys and ridges joined by steep slopes. Kacyiru
Kacyiru is one of 15 sectors in the district of Gasabo in the capital province of Kigali in Rwanda. Geography Kacyiru covers an area of 5.8 km² and lies at an altitude of about 1,470 meters. The sector is divided into three cells: Kamatamu, Kamutwa and Kibaza. Kacyiru is bordered by Kinyinya to the north, Remera to the east, Kimihurura to the south, Muhima to the southwest and Gisozi to the northwest. Demographics According to the census of 2022, the population was 30,036. Ten years earlier, it had been 37,088, which corresponds to an annual population decrease of 2.1 percent between 2012 and 2022. Gisozi
Gisozi is one of 15 sectors in the district of Gasabo in the province of Kigali in Rwanda. Geography Gisozi covers an area of 9.1 km2 and lies at an altitude of about 1,510 meters. The sector is divided into two cells: Musezero in the northeast and Ruhango in the southwest. Gisozi's neighboring sectors are Jabana to the north, Kinyinya to the east, Kacyiro to the southeast, Muhima to the south and Gatsata to the west. In the west, the sector also borders the Nyabugogo River. Demographics According to the Rwandan census of 2022, the population was 75,611. Kimihurura
Kimihurura is one of 15 sectors in the district of Gasabo in Ruanda's capital of Kigali. Geography Kimihurura covers an area of 5.1 km2 and lies at an altitude of about 1,480 meters. The sector is divided into three cells: Kamukina, Kimihurura and Rugando. Neighboring sectors are Kacyiro in the north, Remera in the east, Kicukiro in the southeast, Gikondo in the southwest and Muhima in the west. Ndera
Ndera is one of the 15 sectors that make up the district of Gasabo found in kigali city. It is about from the capital. Lake Muhazi () is a long, thin shallow lake in the east of Rwanda.
