Gary Rolph
Gary Leslie Rolph (born 24 February 1960) is an English retired footballer who played in the Football League for Brentford as a forward. Career A graduate of the Brentford youth team, Rolph made 12 appearances and scored one goal for Brentford between 1976 and 1979. His only goal for the Bees came in a 3–2 FA Cup second round defeat to Colchester United on 20 December 1976, a strike that still holds the club record for youngest goalscorer in the FA Cup. Rolph was released at the end of the 1978–79 season and joined Isthmian League Premier Division club Woking Woking ( ) is a town and borough status in the United Kingdom, borough in northwest Surrey, England, around from central London. Stepney
Stepney is a district in the East End of London in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The district is no longer officially defined, and is usually used to refer to a relatively small area. However, for much of its history the place name applied to a much larger manor and parish. Stepney Green is a remnant of a larger area of Common Land formerly known as Mile End Green. The area was built up rapidly in the 19th century, mainly to accommodate immigrant workers and displaced London poor, and developed a reputation for poverty, overcrowding, violence and political dissent. It was severely damaged during the Blitz, with over a third of housing totally destroyed; and then, in the 1960s, slum clearance and development replaced most residential streets with tower blocks and modern housing estates. The Football League Third Division was the third tier of the English football league system in 1920–21 and again from 1958 until 1992. When the FA Premier League was formed, the division become the fourth tier level. In 2004, following the formation of the Football League Championship, the division was renamed Football League Two. Football League Fourth Division
The Football League Fourth Division was the fourth-highest division in the English football league system from the 1958–59 season until the creation of the Premier League prior to the 1992–93 season. Whilst the division disappeared in name in 1992, the 4th tier of English football continued as the Football League Third Division, and later became known as Football League Two. History The Fourth Division was created in 1958 alongside a new Third Division by merging the regionalised Third Division North and Third Division South. The 1981–82 season was the 67th season of the Isthmian League, an English football competition. Leytonstone & Ilford were champions, winning their first Isthmian League title two years after merging. There was no promotion from the Isthmian League to the Alliance Premier League till 1985. Bognor Regis Town were transferred from the Southern Football League and won promotion to the Premier Division at the first attempt. Camberley Town left the league at the end of the season.
