Gary Parcell
Gary Parcell was an Australian professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. A Queensland interstate and Australia international representative forward, he played his club football in Ipswich for Brothers. The son of Queensland Maroons forward, Percy Parcell, Gary, like his father, played for the Ipswich Rugby League's Brothers club. In 1959, Queensland won the interstate series against New South Wales 3-1, but managed only seven players in a Kangaroo touring party of 26. The Rugby League Ipswich is a rugby league football competition based in Ipswich, Queensland. It is under the administration of the Queensland Rugby League through the South East Queensland Division, which also administers the Brisbane and Gold Coast competitions. Ron Boden
Ronald James Boden (16 October 1936 – 24 August 2015) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played for Parramatta as a centre and also played for Australia, New South Wales and Queensland. Early life Born on 16 October 1936 in Coonamble, New South Wales, Boden grew up there before moving to Toowoomba in Queensland and played in the local competition after being spotted by coach former North Sydney player Duncan Thompson. Playing career Boden was selected to play for Queensland in 1958 and 1959 while living there to compete against New South Wales in the interstate series. Matt Steven Parcell (born 30 October 1992) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Betfred Super League. He previously played for the Brisbane Broncos and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL. Parcell has also played for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League, and on loan from Leeds at Hull KR. Leeds Rhinos
The Leeds Rhinos are a professional rugby league club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The club was formed in 1870 as Leeds St John's and play in the Super League, the top tier of English rugby league. They have played home matches at Headingley Stadium since 1890. In 1895, Leeds was one of twenty-two rugby clubs that broke away from the Rugby Football Union and formed what was originally the Northern Union, but is now the Rugby Football League. Barry Muir
Barry Muir (18 September 1937 – 2 September 2022) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach. An Australian and Queensland representative , he played in twenty-two Tests between 1959 and 1964, as captain on two occasions. Club career Born in Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Muir played his junior rugby league at Coolangatta State School and represented Queensland Schoolboys in 1951. He was graded with the Tweeds Heads Seagulls and made his first grade debut in 1956. He played a season in 1957 with Valleys in Toowoomba before joining Western Suburbs in 1958 in the Brisbane domestic competition. He stayed with the club for eleven seasons.
