Gary McGinnis
Gary McGinnis (born 21 October 1963) is a Scottish former football player. Career A versatile defensive midfielder, McGinnis made the breakthrough into the Dundee United first team during the 1983–84 season, making six appearances and scored his only goal in his full debut for the club in a 3–0 League Cup win against Motherwell at Fir Park. He found it hard to get a regular spot in a defence featuring Malpas, Gough, Hegarty and Narey, being used as cover for all four over the next couple of seasons. McGinnis appeared in some of United's major European games, playing against Manchester United in the second leg at Tannadice in the 1984–85 UEFA Cup, and spent most of the 1986–87 UEFA Cup run on the bench, making six appearances in the run to the Final against IFK Gothenburg. Richard Gough
Charles Richard Gough (born 5 April 1962) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Gough played in the successful Dundee United team of the early 1980s, winning the Scottish league title in 1982–83 and reaching the European Cup semi-final in 1984. Gough joined Tottenham Hotspur in 1986 and captained them in the 1987 FA Cup Final. He then moved to Rangers and captained them to nine successive Scottish league titles. He subsequently had spells with Kansas City Wizards, Rangers again, San Jose Clash, Nottingham Forest (on loan) and Everton. He won 61 international caps for Scotland and played in the finals of three major tournaments. Gough had a brief spell as manager of Livingston. He is currently an ambassador for Rangers. FIFA U-20 World Cup
The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The competition has been staged every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1977 when it was hosted by Tunisia, under the tournament name of FIFA World Youth Championship until 2005. UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship
The UEFA European Under-19 Championship, or simply UEFA Under-19 Championship or the UEFA Euro U-19, is an annual football competition contested by the European men's under-19 national teams of the member associations of UEFA. Spain and England are the joint most successful team in this competition, having won eleven titles each. England are also the current champions. Non-League football describes association football, football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. McDiarmid Park
McDiarmid Park is a stadium in Perth, Scotland, used mainly for association football. It has been the home ground of Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone since its opening in 1989. Tayside
Tayside ( gd, Taobh Tatha) was one of the nine regions used for local government in Scotland from 15 May 1975 to 31 March 1996. The region was named for the River Tay.
