Gary James
Gary Harry James (born 14 December 1960), popularly known as 'Harry' James, is an English drummer best known for his work with hard rock bands Thunder (band), Thunder and Magnum (band), Magnum. James began playing drums at age eight, following in the footsteps of his father. He played his first gig in his early teens. Popular with rock fans as much for his cheerful persona as for his powerhouse drumming, he was previously a member of 1980s group Terraplane (band), Terraplane, along with future Thunder members Luke Morley and Danny Bowes. He also plays drums with Snakecharmer, Jim Cregan, Cregan & Co and London blues-rock act Bad Influence. He has performed live on stage with The Ian Gillan Band, Graham Bonnet, Don Airey, Mick Ralphs, Paul Young and made a guest appearance playing drums for UK the prog rock band Breathing Space (band), Breathing Space. Jim Cregan
James Cregan (born 9 March 1946) is an English rock guitarist and bassist, best known for his associations with Family, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, and Rod Stewart. Cregan is a former husband of the singer Linda Lewis and worked with her as a record producer. He has also worked with The Quireboys, Glass Tiger, Katie Melua and formed Farm Dogs with Bernie Taupin. Career Cregan was born in Yeovil, Somerset, to Irish parents. When he was 14, he joined The Falcons, formed whilst he was at Poole Grammar School. After developing his next band ''The Disastisfied Blues Band'', Cregan briefly joined with future Traffic frontman Dave Mason, in ''Julian Covay and the Machine'' in 1967 and moved on to join the rock and soul band ''The Ingoes'' as a vocalist and guitarist. Steve Overland
Steve Overland is a British singer/musician who was the lead vocalist and songwriter for the bands Wildlife, FM, The Ladder, Shadowman, and his own group, Overland. Most recently he has collaborated with Fates Warning guitarist, Jim Matheos, in Kings of Mercia. History Overland's nearly 50-year career began in his home region of East Anglia, where he and his brother Chris formed the band Wildlife in 1980. The group were scouted by Adam Faith and soon signed to Chrysalis Records, who released the band's debut album, ''Burning'', in 1980. The band moved labels to the Led Zeppelin owned Swan Song Records for their 1983 self-titled follow up album, which featured Simon Kirke on drums. The band were also managed for a short period by Peter Grant. Thunder is the sound caused by lightning. Depending upon the distance from and nature of the lightning, it can range from a long, low rumble to a sudden, loud crack. The sudden increase in temperature and hence pressure caused by the lightning produces rapid expansion of the air in the path of a lightning bolt. Carl Sentance
Carl Sentance (born 28 June 1961 in Loughborough) is an English rock singer and current vocalist for Nazareth. He has also sung for Persian Risk, Geezer Butler, Krokus and Don Airey. Biography He began his career as the singer for Persian Risk. In 1986, as Persian Risk disbanded, he was recruited by Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler to front the Geezer Butler Band. In 1990, he was sought out by Welsh guitarist Paul Chapman of Lone Star, UFO, and Waysted fame to front a new band, Ghost, in Orlando, Florida. Sentance also assembled an American version of Persian Risk with guitarist Mark Lanoue; the band gigged in the Southern US area until their demise in 1995.
