Gary J. Shapiro is an American author and lobbyist who is the CEO and Vice Chair of the Consumer Technology Association, Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®. Shapiro is the author of the books ''Pivot or Die, How Leaders Thrive When Everything Changes'', ''Ninja Future: Secrets to Success in the New World of Innovation'' (2019)'', Ninja Innovation: The Ten Killer Strategies of the World’s Most Successful Businesses'' (William Morrow, 2013) and ''The Comeback: How Innovation Will Restore the American Dream'' (2011).
