Gary Grant (born April 21, 1965) is a retired American professional basketball player at the point guard position in the National Basketball Association (NBA). College career Gary "The General" Grant played for Canton McKinley High School and collegiately at the University of Michigan. Gary received his BA in Kinesiology. Grant holds several Michigan records including career starts (128), career assists (731), career steals (total and per game), career minutes, career turnovers, single-season assists per game, single-season steals (total and per game, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for both), single-season turnovers, and single-game steals. During the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season while playing for the 2010–11 Michigan Wolverines team, Darius Morris surpassed Grant's school record single-season assist total set for the 1987–88 team. Gary E. Grant is an American trumpet player, composer and producer, and session musician who has played on hundreds of commercial recordings. Gary has collaborated with a variety of artists such as Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton, Brian McKnight, Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Earth Wind & Fire, Go West, Take Six, Elton John, and Aerosmith. Additionally, Gary has worked with producers such as David Foster, Glenn Ballard, Dave Grusin, and Baby Face. In addition, he was a guest artist with the " Chicago 17" horns. ''Choose Love'' is the 14th studio album by Ringo Starr, released in 2005. Background and recording Recorded throughout 2004 into 2005, using the same team that created ''Vertical Man'' (1998) and ''Ringo Rama'' (2003), Starr produced the set with longtime musical partner Mark Hudson and performed it with their studio team. The title track has a Beatles-like "Day Tripper" guitar riff with a coda similar to " The Word" and mentions the Beatles songs "The Long and Winding Road", "Tomorrow Never Knows" and " What Goes On". As ever, a Starr album would be lacking if it did not include some celebrity guests and ''Choose Love'' does not deviate from the formula; it features Billy Preston and Chrissie Hynde as its most notable guests. Gary Gene Grant (born June 29, 1951) is an American serial killer who raped and murdered four young people in Renton, Washington, between 1969 and 1971. At the time of the killings, he was only 18 years old, with three of his victims being children under the age of 17. On August 25, 1971, Grant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He denied his guilt in the crimes, claiming that he is insane. Biography Gary Grant was born on June 29, 1951, in Renton, spending his childhood and adolescence in poverty. His parents were engaged in low-skilled labor, had financial difficulties and lived in a trailer park on the city's outskirts.
