Gary Fox (badminton)
Gary John Fox (December 23, 1943 – December 8, 2022) was a Canadian politician in Ontario. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1995 to 1999. Background Fox was educated at the University of Guelph, and graduated from their Advanced Agriculture Leadership Program. He worked as a farmer after graduation, and became a senior partner in Fox Farms of Bloomfield, Ontario. Politics Fox served as a councillor on the Sophiasburgh township council and the Prince Edward County Regional Council, and was a reeve of Sophiasburgh. He was elected to the Ontario legislature in the 1995 provincial election, defeating Liberal candidate Robert Gentile and incumbent New Democrat Paul Johnson by over 6,000 votes in the riding of Prince Edward—Lennox-South Hastings. Ernie Parsons
Ernie Parsons (born June 5, 1946) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, representing the riding of Prince Edward—Hastings for the Ontario Liberal Party from 1999 to 2007. In 2007 he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace. Background Parsons received a Civil Engineering degree from Carleton University in 1969, and was employed by the Ministry of Transportation from 1969 to 1974, and taught Technology courses at Loyalist College from 1974 to 1999. He also worked as a farmer, and was a board member of the ''Hastings County Children's Aid Society'' for twenty-five years and its chair for three. Daryl Kramp (June 14, 1947 – February 8, 2024) was a Canadian politician. He served as the Conservative member of the Member of Parliament for the riding of Prince Edward—Hastings. He also served as the Progressive Conservative Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Hastings—Lennox and Addington. Personal life Kramp was a onetime investigator with the Ontario Provincial Police. He was a municipal councillor and deputy reeve in the municipality of Madoc, Ontario where he lived until his death. He worked in the retail, wholesale and hospitality sectors. He also organized junior-level ice hockey tours, and was a part-time instructor at St. Lawrence College, Kingston. The 2004 Canadian federal election was held on June 28, 2004, to elect members to the House of Commons of Canada of the 38th Parliament of Canada. The Liberal government of Prime Minister Paul Martin lost its majority but was able to continue in office as a minority government after the election. This was the first election contested by the newly amalgamated Conservative Party of Canada, after it was formed by the two right-of-centre parties, the Progressive Conservative Party and the Canadian Alliance.
