Roger Barnes (born March 30, 1945) is a Canadian former professional wrestling, professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin. He is best known for his appearances with Jim Crockett Promotions, Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and the WWE, World Wrestling Federation in the late-1980s and early-1990s. James Louis Garvin (12 April 1868 – 23 January 1947) was a British journalist, editor, and author. In 1908, Garvin agreed to take over the editorship of the Sunday newspaper ''The Observer'', revolutionising Sunday journalism and restoring the paper, which was facing financial troubles at the time, to profitability in the process. Terence Damian Garvin (born January 1, 1991) is an American college football coach and former linebacker. He is the defensive coordinator for Norfolk State, a position he has held since 2025. He played college football for West Virginia. After going undrafted in 2013, he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). At the time of his death, he was in private practice at AGA Public Realm Strategists in New York City and was also an adjunct professor at the Yale School of Architecture, where he taught from 1967 on. He performed with many prominent 20th-century jazz musicians, including Jelly Roll Morton and John Coltrane. Garvin James Alston Sr. (born December 8, 1971) is an American former professional baseball right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies in 1996.
