Gartnerlosjen
Gartnerlosjen is a Norwegian rock n' roll band known for their peculiar lyrics. Among the more prominent members of the band are vocalist Kristopher Schau, guitarist and vocalist Lars Lønning, and bassist and vocalist Egil Hegerberg (aka "Bare Egil", meaning "Only Egil"). The band was formed in Oslo in 1987, and has been mostly inactive since 1996. Gartnerlosjen has released the albums ''Krem Fjes'' ("Cream Faces", 1994) and ''Due'' ("Pigeon", 1995), in addition to several EPs and demo tapes. In 2003, they released their first greatest hits album ''Adjø kreavitet – 30 år med slurv'' ("Goodbye creativity; 30 years of sloppiness"). The band is signed to Duplex Records, and incorporates many members and music from other bands on the label. Even though Gartnerlosjen has not released any new material in nearly a decade, they still sporadically hold concerts. Egil Hegerberg
Egil Hegerberg (born 23 March 1970) is a Norwegian comedian and musician known for his humorous lyrics and behavior. Career He is best known as a bassist and vocalist, but also plays the guitar, keyboard and synth. He has experimented in several different genres such as punk rock, heavy metal, hard rock, stoner rock, acoustic rock, blues, noise rock, reggae and hip hop. He has played in numerous bands. Much of his notable work has been the result of his solo project Bare Egil Band, and bands like Thulsa Doom, Black Debbath, Hurra Torpedo, and Gartnerlosjen. Thulsa Doom is the only non-humorous band he has been involved with. Black Debbath stole the Spellemannprisen award for best metal album from The Kovenant in 1999 as a joke in collaboration with Kristopher Schau, their friend, who presented the award. The Cumshots
The Cumshots were a death 'n' roll band from Norway. The band was formed in 1999 by Kristopher Schau and Ole Petter Andreassen. The band released four albums, and were known for their violent live performances where members of the band regularly suffered fractures and lacerations, as seen on the cover of ''Norwegian Jesus''. One concert featured an on-stage sex act between two members of the 'eco porn' action group Fuck for Forest. In 2002 the band won an unofficial world-championship in rock for bands which had only released one album in Bilbao, Spain. Kristopher Schau
Kristopher Hugh Martin Schau (born 12 August 1970) is a Norwegian musician, TV host, comedian, author, and songwriter. He was born in Oslo. Radio and television shows Schau is known from several radio shows (most of them also with his brother Alexander Schau) including ''XL'', ''Karate'', and ''Et Norge I Krig''. On TV he has been involved in the shows ''XLTV'', '' Team Antonsen'' (2004), and ''De 7 dødssyndene'' (2007). He has also been part of several bands, among them Gartnerlosjen, Hurra Torpedo, Kåper Gjete, Sinsen, Reidar Roses Orkester, Datsun, The Cumshots, Mongo Ninja and The Dogs. Thulsa Doom (band)
Thulsa Doom is a Norwegian heavy metal band. It takes its name from the Robert E. Howard character. This is not to be mistaken for the New York hardcore punk band with the same name that existed from 1998–2000. History The band was formed in 1999 by guitarist Ole Petter Andreassen (also a member of The Cumshots and Black Debbath), under the stage name ''El Doom''. He was joined by his Black Debbath colleague, bass player Egil Hegerberg, using the name ''Angelov Doom'', as well as singer ''Papa Doom'', guitarist ''Doom Perignon'' and drummer ''Fast Winston Doom''. The band's music is somewhat similar to stoner rock legends Kyuss and early Black Sabbath. The band's debut release ''She Fucks Me'' was released in 2000.
