Garthwaite Stadium
Garthwaite Stadium is a multi-sports venue in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, in the USA. It has a capacity of 3,700 with its full name being the Albert A Garthwaite Stadium Field. The stadium is named for the former President of Lee Tire & Rubber Company. In 2012 the stadium was fully renovated with upgrades to the stands, facilities and the floodlights. The stadium hosts the ''Conshohocken Music Festival'' and was used by Toronto Wolfpack rugby league team for their reality programme Last Tackle. Philadelphia Phoenix The Philadelphia Phoenix, a professional ultimate team and member of the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL), have played their home games at Garthwaite Stadium since 2014. In 2018 they boasted a 4-1-1 home record at Garthwaite. New Haven Warriors
The New Haven Warriors were a rugby league football team based in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S. They played in the American National Rugby League (AMNRL) from 2006 to 2010 and in the USA Rugby League (USARL) from 2011 to 2012 before withdrawing. They played their home games at Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven, Connecticut. The team was established in 2006 as an AMNRL expansion team. In 2011 they became one of seven clubs that withdrew from the AMNRL to form the new USA Rugby League. Jacksonville Axemen
The Jacksonville Axemen are a semi-professional rugby league team based in Jacksonville, Florida, U.S. They currently play in the USA Rugby League (USARL). They play their home games at the North Practice Soccer Fields at the University of North Florida. Together with the ew Haven Warriors the Axemen were founded in 2006 as an expansion team of the American National Rugby League (AMNRL). Since their inception they have become one of the most successful rugby football clubs in the United States both on and off the field. They advanced to the AMNRL playoffs in 2006, 2008, and 2009, and won the 2010 AMNRL Championship. Colonial Cup (rugby League)
The Colonial Cup is an international rugby league football challenge match played between the United States Tomahawks and the Canada Wolverines. The inaugural match was played in September, 2010 at the Richardson Memorial Stadium at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. The match was won by the USA Tomahawks 22-16. In 2011, the Colonial Cup was expanded to a 'home and away' series. Each team won their home fixture; the USA won the first of the two games 18-2 with Canada securing their first win in the second match with an 18-16 win. USA won the series with an overall aggregate score of 34-20. In 2012, the Cup was again contested over 2 games, with the USA Tomahawks winning both games. Saint Patrick's Day Test
The Saint Patrick's Day Test also known as the Donnybrook Cup was an international rugby league football match played between the United States and Ireland from 1995 to 2012. The game was usually held on or around March 17 to coincide with Saint Patrick's Day. There have been eight matches, with five won by the USA and three won by Ireland. Ireland competed as a full test side for the first two matches, winning both.
