General Sir Garry Dene Johnson, (born 20 September 1937) is a retired British Army officer who served as Commander-in-Chief of Allied Forces Northern Europe from 1992 to 1994. Military career Garry Johnson was commissioned into the 10th Princess Mary's Own Gurkha Rifles in 1956. Order of the Three Stars () is the highest civilian order awarded for meritorious service to Latvia. It was established in 1924 in remembrance of the founding of Latvia. Its motto is ''Per aspera ad astra'', meaning "Through hardships towards the stars". The Order has five ranks and three grades of medals of honour. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath is a British order of chivalry founded by King George I of Great Britain, George I on 18 May 1725.
