Garrick Sherman
Garrick Sherman (born August 18, 1990) is an American basketball player. Sherman plays as center or power forward. College career Sherman started his collegiate career with Michigan State Spartans men's basketball in 2009. He didn't play in the 2011–12 season, and transferred to Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's basketball after the season he sat out. Professional career On July 30, 2014, Sherman signed with AZS Koszalin in Poland. On January 29, 2015, he was released by the team. On February 5, 2015, he signed with BC Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia and finished the 2014–15 season here. He averaged 16.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 16 games for Dinamo. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. Polish Basketball League
Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. It began in 1947–48, with the name of I Liga, and was originally organized by the Polish Basketball Federation. The league changed to its current form, beginning with the 1997–98 season, after the Polska Liga Koszykówki SA, PLK SA (the Polish Basketball League Joint-stock company) took control over the league (the PLK SA was created in 1995). The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). Since 2021, the league has been replaced by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League. The league had a closed system: to participate, a team has to have enough money and potential.
