Garfield Intermediate School
Garfield Intermediate School, also for sometime the Garfield Junior High School, now the Berkeley Jewish Community Center, East Bay is a historical building in Berkeley, California. The Garfield Intermediate School was built in 1915. The one-story Garfield Intermediate School building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 14, 1982. The Garfield Intermediate School was designed by architect Ernest Coxhead in a Mission Revival architecture. The City of Berkeley built five schools in 1915, Garfield Intermediate School was one of the five. The school has enclosed class room courtyards, a 400-seat auditorium, French windows. Due to the courtyards and large French window, thee school was called a California outdoor school. Garfield School (Boise, Idaho)
__NOTOC__ Garfield School in Boise, Idaho, is a 2-story, flat roof brick building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1929. The 1929 facade is symmetrical and shows a Tudor Revival influence, and shallow arch entries at north and south ends of the building are prominent features of the Broadway Avenue exposure. The brick cornice is inset with a diamond pattern. In 1949 the elementary school was expanded with north and south wings containing additional classrooms and an auditorium. The expansion is compatible with the original structure, and the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The nomination form had not been digitized by March 2019. Garfield School (Lewiston, Idaho)
The Garfield School in Lewiston, Idaho, designed by J.H. Nave in Colonial Revival style and built in 1910, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is a two-story school built upon a raised basement. Its National Register nomination states: "It is distinguished by its use of two-story bowed bays on either side of a parapeted central bay. Garfield School (Brunswick, New York)
The District #2 Schoolhouse, known locally as the Garfield School and also known as Brunswick District No. 2 School, located in Brunswick, New York, United States, is a two-room schoolhouse built and opened in 1881. It hosted local students until the consolidation of Brunswick (Brittonkill) Central School District in the mid-1950s. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1988, becoming the first building in the Town of Brunswick to be added to the Register. It is the current home of the Brunswick Historical Society. The building, located on the corner of Moonlawn Road and New York Route 2 (Brunswick Road), was owned by Brunswick Central School District until it was transferred to the Town of Brunswick in 1986.
