The Circle Chart Music Awards (), formerly known as the Gaon Chart Music Awards, is a major music awards ceremony that is presented annually in South Korea by the Korea Music Content Association primarily based on the commercial performance of the songs and albums based on the national music record chart Circle Chart. Since 2017, the awarding ceremony has been broadcast live worldwide via Mnet and V Live V Live (stylized as VLIVE), sometimes referred to as V App, was a South Korean live video streaming service that allowed celebrities based in the country to broadcast live videos such as live chat sessions with fans, performances, reality show .... Korea Music Content Association
The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA; ) is a non‐profit organization representing major music content producers and distributors in South Korea. History The KMCA was established on December 9, 2008, and registered with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (South Korea), Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In February 2010, the KMCA launched the national music chart, now known as the Circle Chart. On December 29, 2016, the organization changed its name from the Korea Music Content Industry Association to its current name. In 2018, it introduced a certification system for music recordings and album sales in South Korea. Kim Yong-sun (, born February 21, 1991), better known by the stage name Solar (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress signed under RBW (company), RBW. She is the leader and vocalist of girl group Mamamoo and its sub-unit Mamamoo+. She made her solo debut with the single "Spit It Out (Solar song), Spit It Out" on April 23, 2020. She released her first extended play ''Face (Solar EP), 容: Face'' with its lead single "Honey" on March 16, 2022. Solar ventured into musical acting through the musical ''Mata Hari (Wildhorn musical), Mata Hari'' for its 2022 production and in 2025 is set to make her film debut with a role in ''Gory: A Horror Tale''. The 13th Circle Chart Music Awards () was a award ceremony organized by Circle Chart, held at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in Busan on January 10, 2024. It recognized the best artists and recordings, primarily based on Circle Music Chart of the year from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023. The ceremony was hosted by Leeteuk, Sieun, and Seok Matthew. It was broadcast live on SPOTV and STATV in South Korea. Cho Mi-yeon (; born January 31, 1997), better known mononymously as Miyeon, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a vocalist of the South Korean girl group I-dle under Cube Entertainment, and voiced Ahri in the virtual K-pop girl group K/DA. Early life Cho Mi-yeon was born on January 31, 1997. She is an only child. Miyeon showed a strong interest in singing since she was a child. Her love for music was inspired by her father. Miyeon's parents soon recognized her passion and sent her to music schools to learn various skills, such as violin, guitar, and piano. She eventually auditioned for YG Entertainment in middle school and went on to spend the next five years as a trainee. However, her debut was thwarted and she left the company.
