Gao Wan
Gao Wan (born 24 August 1987) is a Chinese former professional tennis player. Gao was a Chinese Davis Cup representative, featuring in China's win over Indonesia at Jakarta in 2008. He played a dead rubber reverse singles, which he lost to Aditya Hari Sasongko. On the ATP Tour, Gao appeared in the doubles main draw of two tournaments, including the 2009 Shanghai Masters. For much of his career he formed a doubles combination on tour with his twin brother Peng. Tennis
Tennis is a racket sport that is played either individually against a single opponent ( singles) or between two teams of two players each ( doubles). Each player uses a tennis racket that is strung with cord to strike a hollow rubber ball covered with felt over or around a net and into the opponent's court. Davis Cup
The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men's tennis. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested annually between teams from competing countries in a knock-out format. It is described by the organisers as the "World Cup of Tennis", and the winners are referred to as the World Champion team. Aditya Hari Sasongko
Aditya Hari Sasongko (born 4 July 1988) is an Indonesian former professional tennis player. A left-handed player from Bantul, Yogyakarta, Sasongko competed on the professional tour at ITF Futures. Sasongko appeared in 12 Davis Cup rubbers for Indonesia between 2008 and 2017 across 11 ties, registering four singles wins. He also featured in multiple editions of the Southeast Asian Games, including in 2011 when he won a gold medal in the team event. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. The 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 (also known as the 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000–presented by Rolex) was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 1st edition of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000, and was classified as an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the 2009 ATP World Tour. It was played at Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, China.
