''Gangstress'' is the second studio album by American rapper Khia. It was released on July 11, 2006 via Phase One Communications. Produced entirely by Khia herself, it features a lone guest appearance from JA. It was supported by the single "Snatch Da Kat Back". The release party for ''Gangstress'' was hosted at BED, a New York City nightclub featuring mattresses scattered around the space. Debuting at number 67 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart dated July 29, 2006, the album spent a total of three weeks on the chart, compared to 29 and 20 weeks, respectively, for the two editions of her debut album. It did not enter the ''Billboard'' 200, in contrast to '' Thug Misses'', which had peaked within the top 40. She is known for her single, "My Neck, My Back (Lick It)." Early life Khia was born Khia Shamone Finch Chambers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was raised in its Germantown neighborhood. She moved to Tampa, Florida, when she was 11. Khia attended Dowdell Middle School and Hillsborough High School. She left school sophomore year after she got pregnant. In 1991, Khia had her first child, a daughter also named Khia. In 1992, she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, when the father was stationed there and had her second child, a son named Rashawn, while she was living with him. Before becoming a rapper, she worked as a bartender at Club XS in Tampa. Her mother Carol Belinda Chambers, who was a data entry specialist, died in 2001. ''Thug Misses'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Khia. It was originally released on October 30, 2001 by Divine Records, followed by a wider release on April 23, 2002, by Dirty Down Records and Artemis Records. The album spawned the singles "My Neck, My Back (Lick It)" and "The K-Wang". ''Thug Misses'' was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on September 20, 2002, and as of June 2007, it had sold 611,000 copies in the United States. ''Nasti Muzik'' is the third studio album from American rapper Khia. The album was released on July 22, 2008 on Thug Misses Entertainment/Big Cat Records. One of the feature producers on the album is DJ Craze, with Gucci Mane and Maceo being the featured guest artists on the album. "What They Do" was the first single off the album but did not chart but had a successful underground and streets impact.
