Françoise Levechin-Gangloff (born 1950) is a French classical organist, titular of the great organ of the Saint-Roch church in Paris, professor at the Conservatoire de Paris - CNSMDP and at the Schola cantorum - and President of the International Conservatory of Music in Paris - CIMP. Saint Gangulphus of Burgundy (died May 11, 760 AD) is venerated as a martyr by the Catholic Church. Gangulphus was a Burgundian courtier whose historical existence can only be attested by a single document: a deed from the court of Pepin the Short dated 762. It attests that he was a great landowner, whose family dominated the region and exercised a lot of power. Gangulphus decided to renounce his wealth and become a hermit. Even so, he was subsequently killed by his wife's lover, who wished to remove Gangulphus as a possible interference to the adulterous relationship. Hope Gangloff
Hope Gangloff (born 1974) is an American painter based in New York City who is known for her vividly-colored portraiture. Early life and education Gangloff was born in Amityville, New York. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1997. Early career In high school, Gangloff began creating large-scale paintings in the attic of an old barn owned by her parents in Amityville, New York. While studying for her B.F.A. at Cooper Union, the artist continued to paint murals and large-scale works. Working large allowed the artist to feel that she was embedded "in color-field with the paint," an experience that was "an immediate way to abstract your space." Gangloff painted large portraits, using house paint on butcher paper, of her peers and members of her local artistic community while she was a student. Mark Daniel Gangloff (born June 8, 1982) is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, world champion, and former world record-holder. Gangloff represented the United States at two consecutive Summer Olympics. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, he earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the 4×100-meter medley relay. In individual competition, he placed fourth in the men's 100-meter breaststroke. Four years later at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he again participated in his signature event, the 100-meter breaststroke, and placed eighth in the event final.
