Ganganagar Assembly Constituency
Ganganagar, also called Sri Ganganagar, Vidhan Sabha seat is one of the constituencies of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, in India. It is a segment of Ganganagar (Lok Sabha constituency). Ganganagar Constituency covers all voters from part of Ganganagar tehsil, which includes ILRC Ganganagar (including Ganganagar Municipal Council and excluding Chak Maharaj Ka), ILRC Burjwali and ILRC Natewala. 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Rajasthan on 7 December 2018. The Indian National Congress became the single largest party with 100 seats, short of the majority by 1 seat. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 73 seats, much lower compared to the previous election, in which it won an absolute majority of 163 seats. Legislative Assembly elections were held in the Indian state of Rajasthan on 1 December 2013. Results were announced on 8 December. The incumbent ruling party Indian National Congress, led by the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, lost the elections to Vasundhara Raje-led BJP, who was being touted as the next incumbent.
