Ganesh–Vasanth
Ganesh–Vasanth are a duo appearing in Tamil-language crime thriller novels written by Sujatha. Ganesh, introduced in the 1968 novel ''Nylon Kayiru'', is a level-headed senior advocate who is mainly accompanied by his flirtatious young junior assistant lawyer Vasanth, introduced in the 1973 sequel ''Priya''. Duo pair Ganesh is a level-headed, senior advocate while Vasanth is his flirtatious junior advocate. The Ganesh–Vasanth are based on James Hadley Chase's characters, Vic Malloy and his sidekick. Ganesh was initially assisted by a female assistant Niraja, but later on he was paired with Vasanth. The exact ages of Ganesh and Vasanth were not mentioned by the author. The ages of the duo are assumed to be in between late twenties and early thirties with Vasanth being few years younger to Ganesh. Gayathri (1977 Film)
''Gayathri'' is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed by R. Pattabhiraman and written by Panchu Arunachalam. The film stars Jaishankar, Rajinikanth and Sridevi. It is based on the novel of the same name by Sujatha. The film was released on 7 October 1977. Plot Rajarathnam is a rich man who lives with his sister Sarasu and a young house maid in Madras. His sister arranges a marriage for him with Gayathri, a sixteen-year old who lives in Tiruchirappalli. Soon after they marry, Gayathri moves to Rajarathnam's house and realises that the family has dark secrets. Rajarathnam is actually a blue-film producer – he secretly records himself and his new wife in their bedroom scenes without her knowledge, and sells the films on the black market. Priya (1978 Film)
''Priya'' is an Indian Tamil thriller film directed by S. P. Muthuraman, starring Rajinikanth, Sridevi, Ambareesh, and Aznah Hamid. It was partially reshot in Kannada language Shivaram and K. S. Ashwath replacing Major Sundarrajan and K. Natraj respectively respectively whilst all other scenes were dubbed from the Tamil original. The film shares the same name as a novel by Sujatha, but actually adapts from multiple works by the writer including the aforementioned novel. The Tamil version was released on 22 December 1978, and the Kannada version on 12 January 1979. It was dubbed and released in Telugu as ''Ajeyudu'' which released on 10 March 1979 and was also dubbed in Hindi as ''Love in Singapore'' in 1983. Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu Naidu is an Indian actor, producer, director, and dubbing artist. He has acted predominantly in Telugu and Tamil languages. Personal life Suresh was born in Sri Kalhasthi.
