Gamlakarleby Bollklubb
Gamlakarleby Bollklubb is a Finland, Finnish Association football, football club from Kokkola (''Gamlakarleby'' in Swedish). It currently plays in the Finnish Second Division (''Kakkonen''), which is the third-highest level in Finnish football. GBK play their home games at the Keskuskenttä in Kokkola, which has the capacity to accommodate around 3,000 people. GBK is a bilingual club that organises its activities in both Finnish and Swedish. Club history Year 1920 IV (Idrottens vänner) and GUIK (Gamlakarleby Ungdomsförenings Idrottsklubb) joined their teams and the new club Gamlakarleby Idrottsförenig (GIF) was founded. Year 1921 the sponsor of GIF, August Kyntzell, had visited England and seen Stoke City playing in their red and white striped dress. Kyntzell became fond of the costumes and decided that his team (GIF and later GBK) would play in the same colours. David Carlsson (footballer)
David "Tulle" Carlsson (born March 7, 1983) is a Swedish footballer. Career Carlsson played a total of six seasons at IFK Mariehamn in Finland after his arrival from Swedish Älvsjö AIK FF. He scored both goals in the play-off final when IFK Mariehamn was promoted to the Veikkausliiga in 2004. He also scored second most goals in the league in his first season in the top flight (14 goals in 25 matches). In 2006 Carlsson went on a short-term loan to HJK Helsinki at the end of the season, but returned to Mariehamn. He managed to score one goal while in Helsinki. On November 17, 2008, it was announced that Carlsson would join newly promoted Brommapojkarna, his former club, for the 2009 season in the Swedish top flight. Christopher Corcoran (born March 30, 1983, in Weymouth, Massachusetts) is a retired American soccer player. He is currently employed in FF Jaro's academy. Early life Corcoran grew up in Marshfield, Massachusetts, where he attended Marshfield High School.
