Game Of Thrones Season 6
The sixth season of the fantasy drama television series ''Game of Thrones'' premiered on HBO on April 24, 2016, and concluded on June 26. It consists of 10 episodes, each of approximately 50–60 minutes long. Much of the season's storyline is derived from content not yet published in George R. R. Martin's ''A Song of Ice and Fire'' series, although a significant amount of material from ''A Feast for Crows'', ''A Dance with Dragons'' and the upcoming sixth novel ''The Winds of Winter'', which Martin outlined to showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, was used. The series was adapted for television by Benioff and Weiss. HBO had ordered the season on April 8, 2014, together with the fifth season, which began filming in July 2015 primarily in Northern Ireland, Spain, Croatia, Iceland and Canada. David Benioff
David Friedman (; born September 25, 1970), known professionally as David Benioff (), is an American writer, director and producer. Along with his collaborator D. B. Weiss, he is best known as co-creator and showrunner of ''Game of Thrones'' (2011–2019), the HBO adaptation of George R. R. Martin's series of books ''A Song of Ice and Fire''. Michael McElhatton (born 12 September 1963) is an Irish actor and writer. He is best known for playing the role of Roose Bolton in the HBO series ''Game of Thrones''.
