''Game'' is the debut studio album by KHM, an American rap group consisting of Kool Keith, H-Bomb (aka Jacky Jasper) and Marc Live. It was released on November 19, 2002 via Number 6 Records and was entirely produced by all the three members of the group. English trip hop artist Tricky made guest appearance on the track "Run Dem Red". The album peaked at number 42 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, number 33 on the Independent Albums, number 26 on the Heatseekers Albums. The Heatseekers charts were "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine that ranks R&B and hip-hop albums based on sales in the United States and is compiled by Luminate. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965, in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. It then went through several name changes, being known as Soul LPs in the 1970s and Top Black Albums in the 1980s, before returning to the R&B identification in 1990 and affixing a hip hop designation in 1999 to reflect the latter's growing sales and relationship to R&B during the decade. Tricky (musician)
Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws (born 27 January 1968), better known by his stage name Tricky, is an English music artist, record producer, vocalist and rapper. Born and raised in Bristol, UK, Bristol, in southwest England, he began his career as an early member of the band Massive Attack, alongside Robert Del Naja, Daddy G, Grant Marshall and Andrew Vowles. Through his work with Massive Attack and other artists, Tricky became a major figure in the Bristol underground scene, which gave rise to multiple internationally recognized artists and the music genre of trip hop. Underground Hip Hop
Underground hip hop (also known as underground rap or simply underground) traditionally refers to hip hop music that is outside the general mainstream canon or counter-cultural in nature, usually with a heavy emphasis on emotion, lyricism, and/or social consciousness. Being outside of the mainstream, it is common for artists or songs that are considered "underground" to have little commercial success, though this is not a requirement, as many have gained massive followings, especially in the streaming era.
