Gamalakhe is a township situated about inland on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. Geography Gamalakhe is situated north of the Vungu River, approximately 19 km (12 mi) from Port Shepstone and 15 km (9 mi) from Margate. Surrounding communities include Nsimbini in the north-west, Qina in the north-east and Nositha in the south which are all rural communities. The nearest urban settlements are Uvongo, Shelly Beach, Margate and Port Shepstone. St Michael's-on-Sea (popularly known as St Michael's or St Mikes) is a small coastal village located on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, between Uvongo and Shelly Beach. Ramsgate is a village on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, just southwest of Margate. Izotsha is a small rural settlement on the South Coast of the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, just inland from Shelly Beach and approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south-west of Port Shepstone. Uvongo
Uvongo is a seaside resort town situated along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast at the mouth of the Vungu River in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Situated 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north of Margate, Uvongo is the largest upmarket residential area on the Lower South Coast.
