Dafydd ap Llewelyn ap Hywel (c. 1380 – 25 October 1415), better known as Dafydd Gam, anglicized to David or Davy Gam, was a Welsh warrior, a prominent opponent of Owain Glyndŵr. He died at the Battle of Agincourt fighting for Henry V, King of England in that victory against the French. The epithet "Gam" is a soft-mutated form of the Welsh word "cam" (one-eyed, cross-eyed). Mikael Gam (1901–1982) was a Danish educator and independent politician. After working as a teacher and school administrator in Greenland he became a member of the Danish Parliament in 1960 and served in the post until 1960. During the same period he was the minister for Greenland. Biography Gam was born in Sinding near Silkeborg on 14 February 1901. He was a teacher by training and settled in Greenland in 1925. There he worked as a teacher and was a school administrator from 1950 to 1960. He was elected to the Parliament on 15 November 1960. He represented the North Greenland at the Parliament. Morgan Gam (died February 1241) was a Welsh lord of Afan, a small Welsh lordship in Glamorgan. Origin Morgan Gam was a younger son of Morgan ap Caradog and presumably Gwenllian, a daughter of Ifor Bach. After the death of his older brother Lleision, he became lord of Afan in 1213, which stretched across the hill country between River Afan and River Neath. As head of the oldest line of the descendants of Iestyn ap Gwrgan, he claimed supremacy over the neighbouring Welsh lords of Meisgyn and Glynrhondda. Life Both Morgan's father and brother had been loyal supporters of the English king John after he had handed Newcastle Castle over to Morgan ap Caradog in 1189. Gam Malludora (1900–1969) was an Indian politician and tribal leader who served as a Member of Parliament. He was born in Koyyuru mandal of Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh, India in 1900. He was the younger brother of Gam Gantamdora. Their father was Gam Boggudora. The Gam brothers were close associates of Alluri Sitarama Raju during his tribal fights, attacking the police stations of Krishna Devi Peta, Addateegala and Annavaram and procuring ammunition for their assault missions. However, he took shelter in a house in 1923. During this time, the British arrested him and prosecuted him with the death sentence. On his appeal, the death sentence was changed in 1924 to life imprisonment at Andaman Jail. He was released in 1937 on the perusal of Congress politicians. In this way, he became the only associate of Raju to survive the British assault.
