Jackdaws are two species of bird in the genus ''Coloeus'' closely related to, but generally smaller than, the crows and ravens (''Corvus''). Katsiaryna Aliaksandraŭna Halkina ( be, Кацярына Аляксандраўна Галкіна; russian: Екатерина Александровна Галкина; born 25 February 1997) is a retired Belarusian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European all-around bronze medalist. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and finished 6th in the all-around final. Curling
Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice toward a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles. It is related to bowls, boules, and shuffleboard. Ekaterina Vladimirovna Galkina (russian: Екатери́на Влади́мировна Га́лкина; born 10 August 1988 in Moscow) is a Russian curler. At the 2006 Winter Olympics, in Turin, Italy, she was part of Ludmila Privivkova's team. A year later this team won the 2006 European Curling Championships. She has studied Management and International Relations at the Russian State University for the Humanities. In January 2010 Galkina was officially named to the Russian Olympic Team. Pavel Andreyevich Galkin (russian: Павел Андреевич Галкин; 15 December 1922 – 15 June 2021) was an officer of the Soviet military who held a number of posts in Soviet Naval Aviation, reaching the rank of colonel. A veteran of the Second World War, he was a recipient of the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
