Galit Eilat
Galit Eilat, born 1965 in Israel, is an independent curator and writer living in the Netherlands. Israeli Center for Digital Art Galit Eilat is the founding director of The Israeli Center for Digital Art in Holon (2001 - 2010). During her directorship, she curated numerous exhibitions presenting both Israeli and international artists. Among the projects was the trilogy ''Hilchot Shchenim'' (2003-2005), an attempt to establish a cultural network as a platform for artists and art centres in the Near East, the Mediterranean Basin, as well as in wider circles such as the former Eastern European bloc and the Balkans. In this same line of projects aiming to overcome national borders and limitations dictated by political conditions, Eilat established the ''Mobile Archive''. National Museum Of Fine Arts (Albania)
The National Museum of Fine Arts ( sq, Galeria Kombëtare e Arteve) is a national art museum in Tirana, Albania, under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture. It features the work of well-known Albanian artist, such as Sadik Kaceli. In October 2021, the gallery was temporarily closed to allow for significant construction work to take place such as the revamping of the current structure and the building of a new one nearby. The works are expected to last until end of 2023. In the meantime, plans include the digitization of art work at the AlbaFilm studios. The history of the Jews in the Netherlands began largely in the 16th century when they began to settle in Amsterdam and other cities. It has continued to the present. During the occupation of the Netherlands by Nazi Germany in May 1940, the Jewish community was severely persecuted. The area now known as the Netherlands was once part of the Spanish Empire but in 1581, the Northern Dutch provinces declared independence. A principal motive was the wish to practice Protestant Christianity, then forbidden under Spanish rule. Religious tolerance was effectively an important constitutional element of the newly independent state. This inevitably attracted the attention of Jews who were religiously oppressed in different parts of the world. Avi Mograbi ( he, אבי מוגרבי; born May 9, 1956) is an Israeli documentary filmmaker. Life and career Mograbi's grandfather founded The Mograbi Cinema ''(Kolnoa Mograbi)'', an Art Deco movie theatre in downtown Tel Aviv. Opened in 1930, it was probably Israel's most famous movie theater. It was the site of one of the largest celebrations following the 1948 partition and remained a vital national landmark until its demolition in the 1990s. Avi Mograbi was born in Tel Aviv to migrant parents. His mother fled to Palestine from Germany (at that time German Reich) in the 1930s; his father was born in Beirut, Lebanon to an Arab-speaking Jewish family. Artur Żmijewski (born 26 May 1966 in Warsaw) is a Polish visual artist, filmmaker and photographer. During the years of 1990–1995 he studied at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. The Zachęta National Gallery of Art (Polish: ''Zachęta Narodowa Galeria Sztuki'') is a contemporary art museum in the center of Warsaw, Poland. The São Paulo Art Biennial ( Portuguese: ''Bienal de São Paulo'') was founded in 1951 and has been held every two years since. It is the second oldest art biennial in the world after the Venice Biennale (in existence since 1895), which serves as its role model.
