Galima Shugurova
Galima Akhmetkareevna Shugurova (; Tatar: Галима Әхмәтгәрәй кызы Шөгурова; born 8 November 1953 in Omsk) is a retired rhythmic gymnast who competed for the Soviet Union. She is the 1973 World all-around champion and two-time (1969, 1977) World all-around silver medalist. She is the first all-around winner of the European Championships. Personal life Shugurova was born to a Siberian Tatar family in the city of Omsk, in western Siberia. She studied history at the Omsk Pedagogical Institute. Shugurova graduated from the Omsk Institute of Physical Training in 1975. Career Shugurova was introduced to rhythmic gymnastics when she was nine years old. Initially, she was more attracted to figure skating and choreography classes. She became a member of the junior national team at 13 and joined the senior national team a year later. Elena Karpuchina
Elena Alekseevna Karpukhina (; born 21 March 1951 in Moscow) is a retired rhythmic gymnast who competed for the Soviet Union. She is the 1967 World All-around champion and 1971 World All-around silver medalist. Personal life Karpukhina was born in Butyrka prison, in Moscow where her mother Ludmila Bulatova was serving a sentence after being convicted in the late 1940s. She spent the first two years of her childhood living in prison with her mother, who was pardoned in 1953. Career Karpukhina took up ballet at nine years of age and started rhythmic gymnastics training in 1962. She was coached by Tamara Vartanova and Maria Lisitzian who also coached other Soviet stars such as Ludmila Savinkova and Tatiana Kravtchenko. She won the 1967 World Championships in All-around at 16 years of age and became the second soviet RG to win the All-around, she won the silver medal in hoop and rope. Ludmila Savinkova
Ludmila Petrovna Savinkova ( Ukrainian: Людмила Петрівна Савінкова; Russian: Людмила Петровна Савинкова; born 1 January 1936) is a retired Soviet rhythmic gymnast. She is the first World Champion in 1963 and one of the group member that won gold in the first ever Group competition held at the 1967 World Championships. Career Savinkova was born in Moscow, Russia. In her childhood, she dreamed of becoming a ballerina and an artist. Savinkova was a typical representative of the ex Soviet RG school known for preciseness of lines and lightness of execution. Osteochondrosis is a family of orthopedic diseases of the joint that occur in children, adolescents and rapidly growing animals, particularly pigs, horses, dogs, and broiler chickens. ''Carmen'' () is an opera in four acts by the French composer Georges Bizet. The libretto was written by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy, based on the novella of the same title by Prosper Mérimée. The opera was first performed by the Opéra-Comique in Paris on 3 March 1875, where its breaking of conventions shocked and scandalised its first audiences.
