Galdakao is a town and municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the Basque Country. It is located in the Greater Bilbao, in the valley of the Ibaizabal river, near the Ganguren mountain range. It is surrounded by some summits such as Arrezurriaga (329 m), Txispamendi (221 m) and Santa María (476 m) in the north and Upo (556 m) and Mandoia (640 m) in the south. Usansolo
Usansolo is a municipality located to the east of Galdakao (Biscay) in Spain, 2 km from the centre of the neighbouring town. With few baserris, its population began rising after the railway station was built in the 19th century, when flats started being built. It has 4570 inhabitants as of 2023. Due to its distance from the center of Galdakao, proposals to make it an independent town gathered momentum, until its independence was confirmed on 28 December 2023. Basauri is a major municipality of Biscay, in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, an Autonomous Community in northern Spain.
