Gainsborough, Ipswich
Gainsborough () is an area of Ipswich, in the Ipswich district, in the county of Suffolk, England. It was named after the artist Thomas Gainsborough of Sudbury, who lived in Ipswich for several years. He was noted for visiting the banks of the Orwell in this area. History The construction of Gainsborough, Ipswich, started in 1926. It continued through the 1930s. Once completed, Gainsborough was home to two story detached and semi detached homes, as well as Ipswich Power Station and Orwell Country Park. In 2008–9, Suffolk County Council built a library on Clapgate Lane, Ipswich. Gainsborough Lane Gainsborough Lane is a rural road in Gainsborough. Aerith Gainsborough
, transliterated as Aeris Gainsborough in the English releases of ''Final Fantasy VII'' and ''Final Fantasy Tactics'', is a character in Square's (now Square Enix) role-playing video game ''Final Fantasy VII''. She was designed by Tetsuya Nomura with influence from Yoshinori Kitase, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Yoshitaka Amano. She is one of the main characters of ''Final Fantasy VII'', a young woman allied with the eco-terrorist organization AVALANCHE. Over the course of the story, AVALANCHE begin to pursue the game's antagonist Sephiroth, and it is revealed that Aerith is the last surviving Cetra, or "Ancient", one of the planet's oldest races. X11 Color Names
In computing, on the X Window System, X11 color names are represented in a simple text file, which maps certain strings to RGB color values. It was traditionally shipped with every X11 installation, hence the name, and is usually located in ''<X11root>''/lib/X11/rgb.txt. The web colors list is descended from it but differs for certain color names. Color names are not standardized by Xlib or the X11 protocol. The list does not show continuity either in selected color values or in color names, and some color triplets have multiple names. Despite this, graphic designers and others got used to them, making it practically impossible to introduce a different list. In earlier releases of X11 (prior to the introduction of Xcms), server implementors were encouraged to modify the RGB values in the reference color database to account for gamma correction. The Gainsborough melodramas were a sequence of melodrama films produced by the British film studio Gainsborough Pictures between 1943 and 1947 that conformed to a melodramatic style.Brooke, Michael. Gainsborough Pictures was a British film studio based on the south bank of the Regent's Canal, in Poole Street, Hoxton in the former Metropolitan Borough of Shoreditch, east London. Gainsborough Studios was active between 1924 and 1951. The company was initially based at Islington Studios, which were built as a power station for the Great Northern & City Railway and later converted to studios. Other films were made at Lime Grove and Pinewood Studios. The former Islington studio was converted to flats in 2004 and a London Borough of Hackney historical plaque is attached to the building. The studio is best remembered for the Gainsborough melodramas it produced in the 1940s. Gainsborough Pictures is now owned by Gregory Motton.
