Gage Quinney
Gage Quinney (born July 29, 1995) is a Canadian-American professional ice hockey forward currently playing under contract with the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Quinney is notable as the first Nevada-born player in NHL history, making his debut with his hometown team, the Golden Knights. Playing career Quinney played as a youth with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes and in his hometown with the Las Vegas Storm of the T1EHL. Chicago Wolves
The Chicago Wolves are a professional ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League and are the top minor-league affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. 2016-17 ECHL Season
16-17 is a band from Basel, Switzerland. Their music combines punk rock, hardcore punk, jazz and industrial music. Biography 16-17 was founded in 1983 by Alex Buess, Knut Remond and Markus Kneubühler. When the group played its first concerts in 1983 it was received with controversial reactions: there where hardly any groups that played in an approximately similar style. Only some years later around 1986 groups like Painkiller, Last Exit or The Flying Luttenbachers appeared . They played a similar mix of rough noise, heavily amplified instruments and free jazz inspired improvisation. 1983 to 1994 the group did a lot of tours and played many gigs all over Europe, Japan and USA. Las Vegas Thunder
The Las Vegas Thunder were a professional ice hockey team competing in the International Hockey League. The team's home rink was at the Thomas & Mack Center. They began play in the 1993–1994 season, folding on April 18, 1999. The demise of the franchise was precipitated by the refusal of UNLV officials to negotiate with team owners regarding a new agreement to continue playing at the Thomas & Mack Center after the 1998–1999 season. Without a facility that was suitable even for temporary use, the Thunder were forced to shut down. Ken Quinney
Ken Quinney (born May 23, 1965) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played parts of three seasons for the Quebec Nordiques from 1986 to 1991, scoring 7 goals and 13 assists in 59 games. Most of his career, which lasted from 1985 to 2001 was spent in the American Hockey League, International Hockey League, and the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Quinney was a WHL all-star with the Calgary Wranglers, notching 311 points in 261 games. His minor league career saw him produce nearly a point per game. He scored 435 points in 453 games during his 8-year stint in the AHL and notably won the Calder Cup with the Adirondack Red Wings in 1992. He was also a star forward for the Las Vegas Thunder in the International Hockey League where he scored a franchise-record 189 goals over five seasons. Calder Cup
The Calder Cup is the trophy awarded annually to the playoff champions of the American Hockey League. It was first presented in 1937 to the Syracuse Stars. The cup is made of sterling silver mounted on a base of Brazilian mahogany. In its current shape, the trophy has a two-tiered square base with commemorative plaques for each of the AHL's 20 most recent champions: 12 on the bottom tier and 8 on the top tier. Each time a new championship plaque is added, the oldest plaque is retired and joins a display at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League, and are the AHL affiliates of the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins.
