Gagaʻifomauga
Gagaifomauga is a political district on the island of Savaii in Samoa. The district is situated on the northern side of the island with a population of 4,878 (2016 Census). Gagaifomauga district include the village communities of Aopo, Lefagaoali'i, Manase, Safune, Safotu, Samauga and Sasina. The main village in the district was traditionally Aopo.

Sasina, Samoa
Sasina is a village on the north coast of Savai'i island in Samoa. It is situated on the central north coast of the island in the district of Gagaʻifomauga and the electoral district of Gagaʻifomauga 3. The population is 568. The village is part of a conservation area which includes the village of Aopo.

Aopo
Aopo is a village in the Gaga'ifomauga district on the island of Savai'i in Samoa. It is situated inland in the central north of the island in the district of Gagaʻifomauga and the electoral district of Gagaʻifomauga 3. The population was 383 as of 2016. The name of the village is derived from two words, ''ao'' (day) and ''po'' (night) and may be derived from a volcanic eruption. The village is located inland from the north coast of Savai'i, close to the main lava field from the island's volcanic cones. There is an Aopo Conservation Area open to visitors and the trail starts at the east end of the village. Hikers can ascend Mt Silisili, Samoa's highest peak, from Aopo. Samauga
Samauga is a village on the central north coast of Savai'i island in Samoa. It is situated on the central north coast of the island in the district of Gagaʻifomauga and the electoral district of Gagaʻifomauga 2. The population is 373. There is a primary school, a church and several small local stores with the main road passing through the village. At the east end is the village of Safotu and on the west side, the road heads towards Lefagaoali'i and Safune. There is a turnoff in the village to the inland village of Paia. From 2006 to 2009, the women's committee (''Komiti a Tina ma Tamaitai'') in the village have been working with the Ministry of Agriculture, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and South Pacific Business Development towards improving agricultural methods in the village. Districts Of Samoa
Samoa is divided into eleven ''itūmālō'' (political districts), which were established well before the arrival of Europeans. Each district has its own constitutional foundation (''faavae''), rooted in the traditional order of title precedence as outlined in its ''faalupega'' (traditional salutations).
