Gabriel Dowrick
Gabriel Dowrick (born 4 September 1983) is an Australians, Australian born screenwriter and editor. Screenwriting Gabriel co-wrote and created the Australian ABC TV comedy series Preppers (TV series), Preppers with Nakkiah Lui in 2021. Preppers was nominated for Best Narrative Comedy Series and Best Comedy Performer (Nakkiah Lui) at the 2021 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards. Feature film credits include Skin Trade (film), Skin Trade, directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham and starring Dolph Lundgren and Tony Jaa and Terminus (2015 film), Terminus, directed by Marc Furmie and exec-produced by Shane Abbess. Tropfest
Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival. It has also become known as the world's first global film festival. Founded by actor/director John Polson, Tropfest began in 1993 as a screening for 200 people at the 'Tropicana Caffe' in Darlinghurst, Sydney, Australia, but has since become the largest platform for short films in the world.
