Gabhana
Gabhana is a tehsil, block, town and a Nagar panchayat in Aligarh district, 23 km from the district headquarters in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Geography Gabhana is situated on the Grand Trunk Road 100 km southeast of New Delhi and 80 km from Noida and Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Neighbouring cities are Khair and Khurja. It is near to Harduaganj Thermal Power Station, one of the oldest hydroelectric power plants of India. Aligarh () is one of the 75 districts in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. This district is a part of Aligarh Division. Harduaganj Thermal Power Station
Harduaganj Thermal Power Station is located at Qasimpur Power House Colony which is 1 km distance from Harduaganj railway station at Harduaganj in Aligarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, about 18 km from Aligarh and 105 km from Agra. It is the new electric power station established in Aligarh district; the old one is Sumera Hydroelectric Power Plant located in Jawan Sikandarpur of Aligarh district. The coal for this power plant is sourced from coal mines owned by BCCL and ECL and are transported to the power plant through rail line.
