Gabe Threadgold
Gabriel "Gabe" Threadgold (born November 10, 2000) is an American soccer player who plays as a midfielder. Career Threadgold played with the Seattle Sounders FC academy, whilst also appearing for the club's USL Championship side Tacoma Defiance in 2018 and 2019. After leaving the Sounders academy, Threadgold began playing college soccer at the University of Washington in 2019. Tukwila ( ) is a suburban city in King County, Washington, United States, located immediately to the south of Seattle. The population was 21,798 at the 2020 census. A large commercial center draws workers and consumers to the city daily; industry thrives with the confluence of rivers, freeways, railroads, and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. History The earliest people in Tukwila were the Duwamish, who made their homes along the Black and Duwamish rivers. The name "Tukwila" is the Chinook Jargon word for "nut" or " hazelnut", referring to the hazelnut trees that grew in the area. The Duwamish lived in cedar longhouses, hunted and fished, picked wild berries, and used the river for trade with neighboring peoples. In 1853, the first white settler was Joseph Foster, a Canadian pioneer who had traveled to the Pacific Northwest from Wisconsin. 2019 USL Championship Season
The 2019 USL Championship season was the ninth season of the USL Championship and third under Division II sanctioning. This was the first season in which the league operated under the name "USL Championship," using the moniker "United Soccer League" through 2018. The season began on March 8, 2019, and concluded on October 20, 2019, with each team playing 34 matches. 36 teams competed in the 2019 USL Championship season, split into 2 conferences of 18 teams each. Louisville City FC were the two-time defending champions. The 2019 season was the last for the current version of Nashville SC. The club's identity transferred to a Major League Soccer team that started to play in 2020. Additionally, this season was the last for Ottawa Fury FC.
