Gabby Sutcliffe
Gabrielle Joy "Gabby" Sutcliffe (born 11 April 2002) is an Australian cricketer who plays as a right-arm medium pace bowler and right-handed batter for the ACT Meteors in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL). She played in one match for Sydney Thunder in the 2020–21 WBBL season but was not required to bat or bowl. She made her debut for the Meteors on 7 March 2021, taking three for 66 against the New South Wales Breakers. The Australian Capital Territory Women cricket team, also known as the Intravision ACT Meteors, is the women's representative cricket team for the Australian Capital Territory. 2020–21 Women's Big Bash League Season
The 2020–21 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 06 was the sixth season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament took place from 25 October to 28 November 2020. It was played entirely in Sydney due to ongoing state border restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Brisbane Heat entered the season as double defending champions, having won back-to-back titles in WBBL04 and WBBL05. The Heat finished the regular season with seven-straight wins but suffered an "epic meltdown" in a twelve-run semi-final loss against the Sydney Thunder, ending their hunt for a three-peat. The Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) is the national domestic 50-over competition for women's cricket in Australia. Corowa
Corowa is a town in the state of New South Wales in Australia. It is on the bank of the Murray River, the border between New South Wales and Victoria, opposite the Victorian town of Wahgunyah. It is the largest town in the Federation Council and was the administrative centre of the former Corowa Shire. The name could have derived from a Wiradjuri word referring to the curra pine that yielded gum used by Aboriginal people to fasten the heads of spears to the shafts.
