GWM Tank
Tank or GWM Tank (, styled in all caps) is an automotive marque owned by the Automotive industry in China, Chinese carmarker Great Wall Motors, Great Wall Motor (GWM). The brand specialises in off-road oriented Sport utility vehicle, SUVs. The brand was named after the Tank platform that underpin GWM Tank vehicles. History In July 2020, GWM introduced three platforms with the brand name "L.E.M.O.N.", "Tank", and "Coffee Intelligence". Among them, the Tank platform is a Longitudinal engine, longitudinal platform mainly for hard-core off-road vehicles that supports internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid electric (HEV), and plug-in hybrid (PHEV). According to GWM, the Tank platform would be used by B-class (equivalent to D-segment) to D+-class (above F-segment) SUV and pickup truck market segments. Tank 300
The Tank 300 () or GWM Tank 300 is a mid-size SUV produced by Great Wall Motor (GWM) since 2020. It was originally sold under the Wey premium brand as the Wey Tank 300. Since April 2021, the vehicle was renamed as the Tank 300 under the Tank brand, being positioned below the larger Tank 500. A V6-powered version is marketed as the Tank 330. Overview The Tank 300 was introduced in July 2020 at the Chengdu Auto Show as the Wey Tank 300. It went on sale on the Chinese market on 17 December 2020. It is the first vehicle to be built on the platform called "Tank" by GWM. Great Wall announced the decision to turn Tank into a standalone brand during the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show in April 2021, with its name written in capital letters.
