''Global Underground 030: Paris'' is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by DJ and producer Nick Warren, which was inspired by his performance at the Mix Club in Paris, on 14 October 2006. The album is Warren's seventh release in the Global Underground series. The first disc is atmospheric and melodic, whereas the second is primarily modern dance music. The album reached #20 on the Billboard Top Electronic Albums. Background Warren's latest GU mix finds him taking prog to territories where it's very much on the fringe of the club scene. Nick Warren
Nicholas John Warren (born 24 October 1960) is an English DJ and record producer. He is best known as a member of the electronic music duo Way Out West (duo), Way Out West, his record label and global live events brand, The Soundgarden, and for his albums released in the Global Underground series. He is also head of A&R for the record label Hope Recordings. Biography In 1988, Nick Warren began DJing in Bristol, playing mainly reggae music, reggae and indie music until house music became more popular in the UK. By the early 1990s, Warren had become one of the more popular DJs in Bristol, performing regularly at the superclub Vision and DJing for Massive Attack. While working at a record store in 1994, Warren met producer Jody Wisternoff and the two decided to work together. Ulrich Schnauss (born 8 September 1977) is a German Electronic music, electronic musician and producer based in London, England. He was a member of Tangerine Dream from 2014 to 2020. Biography Ulrich Schnauss was born in the northern German seaport of Kiel in 1977. He had piano lessons when he was seven. Downtempo
Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music.
