GIDS Spider
The Spider is a mobile electronic warfare anti-drone system produced by the Pakistani conglomerate GIDS. It is Pakistan's first locally made counter-UAV system designed to disrupt Loitering munitions and MALE UAVs by jamming their communication and satellite navigation systems. Overview The Spider is a counter-unmanned aircraft system (CUAS) designed by the Defence Science & Technology Organisation of GIDS. The system was unveiled during the ADEX 2024 defense exhibition in Baku and is designed to jam data transmission between the UAV and its controllers at ranges more than 10 km. It can block GPS, radio and satellite positioning systems. The system comes in both vehicle as well as on man portable tripod mounted versions. The Defence Science & Technology Organisation () is a multi-disciplinary, research and development agency under the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) of Pakistan, dedicated for evaluation of science and technology for use by the military. The EDM4S or EDM4S SkyWiper (''Electronic Drone Mitigation 4 - System''), is a portable electronic warfare anti-drone device produced and developed by the Lithuanian company NT Service. It is designed to disrupt small and medium sized UAVs by jamming their communication and satellite navigation systems with an electromagnetic pulse. The Bukovel-AD () is a Ukrainian anti-drone electronic warfare system. Description The Bukovel-AD is a counter-unmanned aircraft system (CUAS) produced by the Ukrainian firm Proximus. It is designed to detect unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at up to 100 km range and jam data transmission between the UAV and its controllers at 20 km.
