Gga (Devanagari)
Ga is the third consonant of Indic abugidas. In modern Indic scripts, ga is derived from the early " Ashoka" Brahmi letter , which is probably derived from the Aramaic letter ( gimel, /g/) after having gone through the Gupta letter . Āryabhaṭa numeration Aryabhata used Devanagari letters for numbers, very similar to the Greek numerals, even after the invention of Indian numerals. The values of the different forms of ग are: *ग = 3 (३) *ग = 300 (३००) *गु = 30,000 (३० ०००) *गृ = 3,000,000 (३० ०० ०००) *गॣ = 3 (३०८) *गे = 3 (३०१०) *गै = 3 (३०१२) *गो = 3 (३०१४) *गौ = 3 (३०१६) Historic Ga There are three different general early historic scripts - Brahmi and its variants, Kharoshthi, and Tocharian, the so-called ''slanting Brahmi''. Ga as found in standard Brahmi, was a simple geometric shape, with slight variations toward the Gupta . The Tocharian Ga did not ha ...

Generalized Gradient Approximation
Density-functional theory (DFT) is a computational quantum mechanical modelling method used in physics, chemistry and materials science to investigate the electronic structure (or nuclear structure) (principally the ground state) of many-body systems, in particular atoms, molecules, and the condensed phases. Using this theory, the properties of a many-electron system can be determined by using functionals, i.e. functions of another function. In the case of DFT, these are functionals of the spatially dependent electron density. DFT is among the most popular and versatile methods available in condensed-matter physics, computational physics, and computational chemistry. DFT has been very popular for calculations in solid-state physics since the 1970s. However, DFT was not considered accurate enough for calculations in quantum chemistry until the 1990s, when the approximations used in the theory were greatly refined to better model the exchange and correlation interactions. Georges Giralt PhD Award
] The Georges Giralt PhD Award is a European scientific prize for extraordinary contributions in robotics. It is yearly awarded at the ''European Robotics Forum'' by '' euRobotics'' AISBL, a non-profit organisation based in Brussels with the objective to turn robotics beneficial for Europe’s economy and society.Georges Giraltreceived his PhD in 1958, from the Paul Sabatier University, in the domain of electrical machines, and soon afterwards became a pioneer in robotics, in Europe and worldwide. He was especially instrumental in bringing in scientific foundations and methodology when the domain was still young, and a loose coupling of mechanical and electrical engineering, adopting the early results of automatic control. The high reputation of the ''Georges Giralt PhD Award'' is based on the prominent role of the awarding institution ''euRobotics''. With more than 250 member organisations, euRobotics represents the academic and industrial robotics community in Europe. Moreov ...

Goemon's Great Adventure
known as ''Mystical Ninja 2 Starring Goemon'' in Europe, is a video game developed and released by Konami for the Nintendo 64 on December 23, 1998. It is the third game in the '' Goemon'' series released in North America and Europe, following ''Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon'', released two years earlier. Featuring platform gameplay in 2.5D, it returns the series to a side-scrolling format. The quirky story highlights Goemon's quest to stop the evil Bismaru, who has stolen Wise Man's resurrection machine. Goemon and his friends must journey through five worlds to battle the revived Dochuki, prince of the underworld, and destroy the captured device. Each world is designed with Japanese styles and themes, and ''Goemon's Great Adventure'' continues the series' tradition of offbeat, surreal humor. The game was received well, with more than 160,000 copies sold worldwide. Reminiscent of older, 16-bit games, the side-scrolling system was lauded by reviewers, who also praised the two- ...

Gongora
''Gongora'', abbreviated Gga in horticultural trade, is a member of the orchid family (Orchidaceae). It consists of 65 species known from Central America, Trinidad, and tropical South America, with most species found in Colombia. They grow across a wide geographical range, from wet forests at sea level, to mountainous regions in the Andes, as high as 1,800 m. The name comes from Antonio Caballero y Gongora, a viceroy of New Granada ( Colombia and Ecuador) and the governor of Peru during the Ruiz and Pavón botanical expedition. ''Gongora'' was one of the first orchids described by a European. Several new ''Gongora'' orchids have been discovered in the 2000s-2010s, whilst many others have been re-grouped under different classifications. Yet there is still some confusion; Many species lack "appropriate" descriptions. Some species, such as ''Gongora portentosa'' and ''Gongora superflua'', are extremely isolated in population. DNA fingerprinting will, in time, contribute t ...

Good Girl Art
Good Girl Art (GGA) is a style of artwork depicting women primarily featured in comic books, comic strips, and pulp magazines. The term was coined by the American Comic Book Company, appearing in its mail order catalogs from the 1930s to the 1970s, and is used by modern comic experts to describe the hyper-sexualized version of femininity depicted in comics of the era. History The science fiction author Richard A. Lupoff defined good girl art as: The popularity of Good Girl Art peaked in the 1940s and 1950s as the style gained favor with young men, particularly US servicemen, for whom comics served as an opportunity to 'girl watch'. Leading artists of the movement include Bill Ward (known for his '' Torchy'' comics) and Matt Baker, who was one of the few African Americans working as an artist during the Golden Age of Comics. During this period, GGA also found its way into newspaper comic strips. One of the early examples of good girl art was Russell Stamm's Invisible Scar ...
