GFK Jasenica 1911
GFK Jasenica 1911 (Serbian Cyrillic: ГФК Јасеница 1911) is a football club from Smederevska Palanka, Serbia. The club currently competes in the Podunavlje-Šumadija Zone League. History Founded on 3 September 1911, the club was originally called PSK (Palanački sport klub). The word "Jasenica" (after the river of the same name) was added to the name in 1922, making it PSK Jasenica. After the merger with Radnički in 1962, the club was renamed to Mladost. The club later became known as Mladost- Goša due to sponsorship reasons. In 2005, the club was refounded as GFK Jasenica 1911 (Gradski fudbalski klub). Perica Ognjenović, a former player, became the honorary president of the club. Podunavlje-Šumadija Zone League
Podunavlje-Šumadija Zone League (Serbian language, Serbian: Зонска лига Подунавско-Шумадијска / Zonska liga Podunavsko-Šumadijska) is one of the Serbian Zone League divisions, the fourth tier of the Serbian football league system. It is run by the Football Association of West Serbia. The league was founded in 2018, together with the Kolubara-Mačva Zone League, Šumadija-Raška Zone League and West Morava Zone League. Smederevska Palanka ( sr-cyr, Смедеревска Паланка, ) is a town and municipality located in the Podunavlje District and the geographical region of Šumadija. According to the 2022 census, the town has 20,345 while the municipality has 42,192 inhabitants. Jasenica (river)
The Jasenica ( Serbian Cyrillic: Јасеница, ) is a river in central Serbia. It is long and is the left tributary of the Great Morava. This river gives the name to the surrounding region. Description The Jasenica originates from several streams, most notably the Đurinci (Cyrillic: Ђуринци) from Venčac mountain, and the Srebrenica (Cyrillic: Сребреница) from the northern slopes of the Rudnik mountain in central Serbia. At its origin, the river runs through the eastern border of the Kačer region. It flows southeast initially, curves around the Rudnik, passes the villages of Donja Šatornja, Blaznava and reaches Stragari, the northernmost municipality of the City of Kragujevac. Ljubiša "Piskavac" Stamenković ( sr-Cyrl, Љубиша "Пискавац" Стаменковић; born 21 July 1964) is a Serbian football manager. Playing career Born in Vlasotince, he spent almost whole his life in Smederevo, where he started playing for local club Železničar. Then he has moved to Belgrade for studies and joined OFK Beograd just to spend a short time there.
