GAS Gang
GAS Gang, also known more simply as GG or GAS, was a British street gang based in Brixton, South London that formed sometime in the late 2000s. The name carries various different meanings, such as Guns And Shanks, Gangsters Always Shoot, Grip And Shoot, and Grind And Stack. By 2012, they were considered one of the most dangerous gangs in South London, with at least 3 murders being committed by alleged gang members since 2010. The local council and police in 2012 believed the gang was responsible for three quarters of violent incidents involving young people in Brixton, with up to eight suspect members of the gang going to jail for attempted murder or murder. A founder (now former member) of the gang claimed they originally had over 100 members when they first formed. GAS Gang was reported to have around 50 members in 2012. Angell Town
Angell Town is an area in Brixton, in the London Borough of Lambeth, south London. The area is dominated by the Angell Town Estate, a housing estate known for its poverty, deprivation and gang subculture. The Angell Town Estate was originally built in the 1970s as a set of blocks linked by a deck-access system. Following the efforts of local resident and community leader Dora Boatemah, the estate was extensively redeveloped in the early 2000s in an attempt to remove the architectural problems that had exacerbated the estate's social problems. The neighbourhood, which predates the estate, was named after John Angell, and first developed in the mid 19th century. The local parish is St John, Angell Town, Brixton, in the Diocese of Southwark, and the local church is St John the Evangelist Church, Angell Town, originally constructed in 1852–3. PDC (gang)
The PDC (Pray Days Change, Public Demand Cartel, or Poverty Driven Children, formerly Peel Dem Crew or Pussy Drugs Cash) was a street gang based in Brixton, London, England, mainly the Angell Town Estate. During the 1990s, they were the largest and most prominent gang in the SW9 postcode. Members were known to be involved in the drugs trade, robberies, shootings, stabbings and general violence. The gang associated with the colours red and purple. Following Ja-Ja's release from prison, he encouraged members of the gang to do more positive things with their lives and reformed PDC as a music collective and label. UK drill is a subgenre of drill music and road rap that originated in the South London district of Brixton from 2012 onwards. Agassi Babatunde Odusina (born 25 July 1992), better known by his stage name Sneakbo, is a British rapper. His first song, " The Wave", peaked at number 48 on the UK Singles Chart and he has since released a number of top 40 hits, such as " Zim Zimma" and " Ring a Ling" between 2012 and 2013. After releasing music for over eight years, Sneakbo released his debut album ''Brixton'' in March 2018. Early life At a young age Sneakbo listened to the late rapper Tupac Shakur and pop star Michael Jackson. Sneakbo is of Nigerian descent. 67 (pronounced ''six-seven'') are a British music group and street gang in the UK drill scene originally composed of members LD, Monkey, Dimzy, Liquez, ASAP and SJ. The group gained notoriety following the police shooting of Chris Kaba. The group has been labelled a criminal gang by the Metropolitan Police, and had several shows shut down using the controversial Form 696, including their first UK tour after it sold out. History 67 formed in Brixton Hill, South London, and rose to fame in 2014. They are known as one of the early adopters of the UK drill sound, being the first group to gain more mainstream popularity. Brixton Hill is the name given to a section of road between Brixton and Streatham Hill in south London, England. Brixton Hill and Streatham Hill form part of the traditional main A23 road, London to Brighton road (A23).
