Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge
The Nanjing Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge, formerly Third Nanjing Yangtze Bridge, is the first cable-stayed bridge with steel tower stanchions located in Nanjing, China. It is the third crossing of the Yangtze River at Nanjing. The cable-stayed portion is just a part of the 4.7 kilometers of the complete bridge. Constructed in slightly more than two years at a cost of $490 million, this bridge features dual 215 meters towers. The main span measures 648 meters. When it was completed in 2005 it was the third longest cable stayed span in the world. It still ranks among the top 20. The bridge carries the G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway and the G2503 Nanjing Ring Expressway. The bridge has renamed on 20 December 2019. G40 Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway
The Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway (), designated as G40 and commonly referred to as the Hushaan Expressway () is an expressway that connects the cities of Shanghai and Xi'an, Shaanxi. It is in length. The expressway was completed after Chongqi Bridge opened to commercial traffic on December 24, 2011. The expressway uses the Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge and the Chongqi Bridge, to cross the Yangtze River north of Shanghai. Wuzhuang toll station in Chuzhou is Asia's largest toll plaza, having 12 + 24 toll lanes. It is located along G40 as one of the important east-west passages from the western direction to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. It is also located close to Nanjing, an important transport node in Jiangsu. During the post-Spring Festival rush of 2025, the station reported a maximum of 126,000 daily through passes. G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway
The Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway (), designated as G42 and commonly referred to as the Hurong Expressway () is an east–west bound expressway that connects the eastern metropolis of Shanghai to Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan. The expressway passes through six provinces and serves major cities such as Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhan, and Yichang. The eastern terminus of G42 is at the Wuning Road Interchange of Shanghai Middle Ring Road. At its western terminus, the expressway intersects the East 3rd Ring Road and connects East Erxianqiao Road in Chenghua District, Chengdu. The expressway spans in length.
